My in-company lessons are made for companies that want their employees to communicate confidently — in meetings, emails, or just at the coffee machine. I focus on practical Dutch, cultural insights, and plenty of real-life examples, so your team can connect easily with Dutch-speaking colleagues and clients.

All my in-company courses are tailored to the needs of your team. — learning objectives, frequency of classes, number of people joining (max 8), etc. Once the plan’s ready, we can start quickly.

Get ready for the inburgeringsexamen (Dutch civic integration exam) with lessons targeted at what you need to know to ace your exam. You need to have level A2 already. Not there yet? Conversation lessons

The biggest problem with people not speaking a foreign language is fear to make mistakes. To get the hang of speaking a language it's very important to oefenen, oefenen, oefenen. Ready to get confident speaking to your in-laws, Dutch colleagues, at Appie (Albert Heijn) or at a birthday party? Log on and get more confident talking about all different kinds of topics.

Dutch College is an online school for Dutch lessons run by Marije (the most difficult name to pronounce outside the Netherlands).I went from helping out newcomers as a language buddy to starting a little Dutch school in Bogotá, to back in the Netherlands working with people with every background imaginable.I believe language is key to understanding the culture and people of a country, to feel at home and make local friends. And mostly: to understand that the Dutch are not as direct as you might think.
